I like the story because it's very interesting and mysterious. I like the part when Hawker and Jude investigated the dead man. I don't like the part when Johnny Cook died in the river.
I liked this book because it is very mysterious and it is strange. I didn't like this book because we don't know what happened in the end.

The book has a difficult vocabulary and the dictionary is necessary for the reading comprehension.
